Thank God there are still some sane people left in this world. The verdict on the Kyle Rittenhouse trial is in; not guilty on all counts. I don't know how anyone in their right mind could have found any differently. I consider this a turning point in the fight of ordinary citizens to lawfully bear arms and to defend themselves and other against the forces of evil, especially racism.

WORD POLICE

I get my news mostly from the local paper (Lincoln JournalStar) online version. Some time back, people had the opportunity to comment on their articles and editorials and to reply to others' comments. Then, they switched to letting Facebook handle all those comments and replies, which meant you had to have a Facebook account and meet Facebook's policies regarding content. That meant Facebook's employees had the power to decide what was published and what was not. Recently, LJS changed to some other program to handle the comments and replies on their articles. This new program has content policies, but they are not available to the public, so when you send a comment or reply it may be blocked without any reason other than it violates the content policies of the provider. It apparently blocks foul language, which is fine with me, but it also blocks photos and links to other sites that contain no profanity or anything one might consider objectionable in a public forum.

I am no longer going to attempt comments on their site, but I will look at the articles and comments and respond to them here on my site where I have control over what gets published. Two can play that game!

POST ELECTION MADNESS

Well, here I go again, posting about my feelings on the current situation with no one likely to read a word of it. To me, it's more therapeutic than anything else. It helps me sort through my own thoughts and evaluate them to see if I am still sane, or if I need a mental health checkup.

The election was a toss-up in my mind. I had suspicions that Trump might have won in a landslide, and according to him, he did. Based on numerous online sources of information, which I realize you can't take as the gospel truth, it would seem there was a concerted effort to cheat on this election. It's certainly possible that there was just enough fraudulent voting and/or counting, to give Biden the win. You can all do your own searches, but I've found enough convincing evidence to make me believe there was a coordinated effort to adjust the vote for Biden to win.

Assuming that these sources are phony, which they could be, I am ready to accept Biden as our president. That does not mean I agree to anything he says or does; it just means I'll accept what happens as the will of the people.

Before he has even taken office, he has outlined many of his plans for this country. Instilling systemic racism (which was a myth prior to now) is one of his first tasks. He came right out and said the government, his government, will provide aid and assistance to small businesses struck hard by the pandemic. Not just all small businesses, mind you, but those owned by anyone other than white males. If that isn't systemic racism, what is?

His administration and the democratically controlled Congress are actually boasting about how they are going to drive conservatives into the ground by taking their guns, limiting their speech, and portraying them as the evil in our country.

Fuck 'em. I'll either move or die resisting their bullshit.
